Medical wastewater monitoring

During the treatment of medical wastewater, it is necessary to monitor the following environmental factors:

1. Monitoring of wastewater discharge outlet: monitoring water quality indicators such as flow rate, COD, BOD, SS, NH3-N, TP, TN, pathogenic microorganisms, etc. of wastewater;

2. Monitoring of surrounding water bodies: monitoring the changes in water quality of surrounding water bodies, such as COD, BOD, SS, NH3-N, TP, TN and other indicators;

3. Soil monitoring: potential pollution to the soil during the monitoring process;

4. Air monitoring: monitoring the possible pollution caused to the air during the disposal process;

According to GB 18466 "Emission Standards for Water Pollutants in Medical Institutions" in China, the emission limits of pollutants in medical wastewater vary depending on specific conditions

Difference in limit values:

1) Hospitals have different attributes and limit values;

2) The discharge location and limit value of the treated medical wastewater terminal are different.
